Elmwood Cemetery Rates and Rules  

There have been a few changes on our Cemetery Board.  This letter is to inform you of the information and to confirm prices for the coming year.

Our prices are as follows:

Interment charges are:

Infants up to 3 Feet $150.00  
Adults 3 Feet and Above $ 660.00 Weekends/Holidays $ 760.00
Cremation Remains $ 300.00 Weekends/Holidays $ 350.00
Cremated Remains, Companion Urn $450.00  
Disinterment Fee Variable Depending on Case  

 

LOTS:

ALL lots are $ 660.00 PER Grave. Two Cremations can be in one grave.
Foundations: $0.60 (60 Cents) per Square Inch
  Foundations are oversized 2 inches larger than the base of the stone/monument.
  Example: 10x20 monument requires a 12x22 foundation.

Cemetery Rules

  • ARTIFICIAL FLOWERS ARE NOT ALLOWED

  • GLASS CONTAINERS ARE NOT ALLOWED

  • Small Flower beds are allowed at the base of monuments, but they must not exceed 12 inches from the monument.

  • All labor, including foundation work will be done by the cemetery staff.

  • Permission from the cemetery is required for any special work.

  • There will be a $5.00 charge assessed for each tree, bush, or shrub planted on a lot regardless of whether cemetery staff or family plants them. A bill will be sent to the plot owner if permission is not requested.

  • Graves will not be opened between November and March when weather conditions warrant such refusal. Extra charges will be assessed in access of the above stated fees if extra costs are incurred by the cemetery for any winter burial.

  • ALL POTS AND URNS NEED TO BE REMOVED BY NOVEMBER 1st

  • No Burial of Pets allowed.
